"As well as being very knowledgeable, Jordan has a natural intuition and empathy. Her dream interpretations are very insightful, and have helped me see much deeper into the meanings and messages in my dreams. I would 100% recommend her"
The History of Dream Interpretation
"I suspect that dreams are an integral part of existence, with far more use for us than we've made of them." - David Bowie.
The importance of working with dreams dates back to ancient cultures. Evidence that the Sumerians of Mesopotamia engaged in dream interpretation dates back to at least 3100 BC. For the ancient Greeks dreams played an important role in social, philosophical, religious, historical and political life. Hippocrates considered dreams to be a reflection of the equilibrium (health) or disturbance (disease) of the body, and used dreams as part of diagnoses.
"Everyone has a doctor in him or her; we just have to help it in its work." - Hippocrates
Early Hebrew tradition also preserves dreams in which the Hebrew God himself appeared to Jacob, Laban and Solomon, granting them direct oracular instruction. Shamans and Healers, throughout the world, have long relied on the power of dreams for their work beyond the physical realm, where dreams, as modern research by pyschologist and parapyschologist Stanley Krippner suggests, are actually capable of taking us.
By the turn of the 20th century, with the help of Freud and Jung, dream work was recognised for it's importance in the field of psychoanalysis. Marie Louise von Franz, a student of Jung who deepened his work on the importance of dreams, was reported to have thrown her clients out of her consulting room if they had not brought a dream with them. Such was her conviction that working with our dreams is a crucial part of healing and understanding ourselves.
"The feeling that dreams show us the real nature of reality is something that's shared by many indigenous groups around the world." - Stanley Krippner
In modern times, the vital (and still somewhat mystical) role of dreams was further underscored by psychoanalysts and psychologists such as Donald Kalsched, Marian Woodman, Marie Louise von France, Robert Bly, James Hillman, Stanley Krippner, and more, along with healers such as Robert Moss and Sandra Ingerman. More and more, and from an increasing number of disciplines, we find confirmation that our dreams are a vital form of communication – between our own subconscious and our conscious and, on some occasions, between other consciousnesses.
Today, therapists, modern healers, practitioners of alternative therapies, trauma workers, body workers and the spiritual-community acknowledge the importance of dreams and what they say about our inner worlds, our worries, our pasts, hopes, dreams and even our connection to those outside ourselves.

"Jordan hört zu und hat mindestens 2 Ohren für Details. Manches was Jordan anmerkt, hat mir richtig die Augen geöffnet und ich wundere mich warum ich nicht selber drauf gekommen bin. Jordan hat ein gutes Gespür für die Richtung gehabt in die ich gehen muss, wo ich hin will und wo ich mich wohlfühle. Hat mir sehr weitergeholfen, zu finden was ich lange gesucht habe und erreichen wollte"
